We are looking for compassionate customer service professionals to join our client, who supports Department of Health Services and assists callers with questions regarding enrollment into the State's managed care programs, Medicaid Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and BadgerCare Plus.
... This position provides support in a call center environment, including choice counseling and enrollment in a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), performs data entry of enrollment choices and exemption/disenrollment in the State's Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS)

Employees will be able to work remotely after training but may be expected to return on-site per the State's request at any time.

TTHPay rate: $17.50/hrBenefits: Medical, Dental, VisionSchedule: Monday-Friday, varies between 7am to 6pm

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by managing customer calls. Provide support through processing enrollments, exemptions, and disenrollment by phone, mail, or other contact methodsMaintain updated knowledge of the Wisconsin Medicaid programs and health plans available to members, provide information and fulfill requests for materials via mail, email, or download.Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities, including translation services for non English speakers, according to the established guidelinesTrack and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics


Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent degree2 years experience in a call center settingMust be able to type 30 wpm (testing required)Must have, or be able to set up, a dedicated and quiet workplace, including a stable and secure internet connection that meets requirementsAbility to provide compassionate and patient customer service to members
