Job Description SummaryProvide exceptional service to all internal and external customers through effective use of contact handling skills and techniques. Subject Matter expert in product, processes and policies. Primary contact for Key Focus accounts and/or business, Sales Force, Product End Users. Responsible for meeting business objectives and targets as defined for this position, supporting and building relationships with Business Unit(s), effectively communicating, driving process improvements and guiding processes to meet customer expectations.

Job Summary:
We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and detail oriented individual who has strong communication skills to join our customer service team as a Customer Care Specialist in San Antonio, TX. The representative will provide technical advice/support to customers on all products within their portfolio and will also handle incoming orders and requests for information via telephone or email.   This position will interact with internal departments and outside vendors and shipping companies to ensure timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities: 

Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding the use of products.  

Assists in training new customers and new employees.  

Interacts with sales representatives and distributors to relay customer concerns and suggestions.  

Promotes and demonstrates safe work practices and behaviors.  

Maintains records related to quality assurance, inventory control, and safety.  

Work requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).  

Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.  

Prioritizes work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.  

Utilize Lean Manufacturing techniques to continually improve department efficiencies.  

Participates in teambuilding activities and contributes to the achievement of group goals.  

Works collaboratively with peers to meet individual targets while contributing to the success of the team.  


Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Minimum of one year previous customer service experience required.  

Strong organizational and problem solving skills required.  

Ability to multi-task required.  

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.  

Proficient computer skills required.  

Ability to perform basic math required.  

Highly flexible – ability to adapt quickly to change.  

Self-motivated – able to take initiative and make decisions.  

Detail oriented – able to focus on the specifics of a project or situation.
