Connect with NRG on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. **Job Summary:** The care summer intern, a member of the Key Client Services team, is primarily responsible for supporting our customer service initiatives through a rotational assignment. This program will offer a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in a professional setting. This position requires regular interaction with multiple functional groups to assist in resolving customer care challenges to deliver an outstanding customer experience while working with key core functions of a care organization including customer relationship management (CRM) systems, issue resolution and technology implementation. **Essential Duties/Responsibilities:** + Assist with day-to-day operations and projects within the NRGB care team primarily focused on key client services but also within mid-market client services, commissions and post-close teams. + Conduct research and gather data to support ongoing projects using tools like PowerBI + Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new strategies resulting from artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives + Support business-as-usual (BAU) and enhancement activities for customer facing online portals + Participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and presentations. + Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed. + Provide administrative support, including scheduling, filing, and data entry. + Engage in professional development activities and training sessions. **Working Conditions:** + Open office environment + Travel could be expected no more than 10% **Minimum Requirements:** + Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s OR Master’s program in operations management or general business management + Physical location: Pittsburgh, PA + Word Mode: TBD **Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + Excellent oral and written communication skills + The ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines, while working effectively with cross-functional teams + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Must have a positive, can-do attitude + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) + Previous internship experience preferred but not required **Physical Requirements:** + Frequent opportunity to move about NRG Energy is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
