MEET THE TEAM:

We are seeking for a Customer Delivery Architect within Customer Experience Service Provider (CX SP) organization. You will support major web customers in the San Jose/Seattle area. This role involves technical work, providing leadership and direction for high-visibility issues, new product introductions, and proof of concept initiatives involving Cisco products such as Spitfire, Cisco 8000, and Nexus 9000.

YOUR IMPACT:

Technical Leadership: Lead and be a consultant to customer and Cisco teams on high-visibility issues and new product initiatives.

Product Support: Provide support for SONiC, IOS-XR, NCS1K, IOS-XE, and Nexus 3000 & 9000 products.

Collaboration: Work closely with operations managers, sales, code developers, network engineers, and high-touch engineers to resolve customer issues.

Customer Engagement: Establish and be an extraordinary partner with customer network operations engineers and network owners.

Solution Development: Understand customer technology roadmaps to develop customized solutions and position Cisco’s value in solving customer business problems.

Strategy and Planning: Build and maintain long-term customer architecture and operations strategies.

Technology Advocacy: Advocate for current and new technologies relevant to customer architecture.


The desired attributes and capabilities for the ideal candidate:

Customer and Team Collaboration: You possess a deep understanding of customer business models, motivations, and revenue generation methods.Independent Work and Initiative: You are capable of working independently, with routine tasks and general mentorship for new assignments. Your consultative approach on large hyperscale networks is a key strength.Problem-Solving Expertise: You excel at resolving problems, identifying root causes, and delivering solutions achieving customer happiness.Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in SP Networking technologies and platform/domain knowledge.in IOS-XR, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing, NCS5500 Fretta, Cisco 8000 / Spitfire, and NCS1K.Experience in Large-Scale Environments: You possess expertise in leading extensive networking environments, enabling you to efficiently address network challenges.

Minimum qualifications

Experience: 10+ years in customer-centric IT delivery roles.Expertise: Deep knowledge of data center infrastructure, WAN or DC networking, and service provider networking technologies.Technical Leadership: Consistent record in leading Technical programs or projects.Software Lifecycle: Understanding of software development lifecycle, SRE, Agile, Dev Ops.Problem Solving: Able to analyze, isolate, and resolve issues with a high level of customer happiness.

Preferred qualifications

Certifications: CCIE preferred, or two of CCNP, DevNet Pro, ONEX Technology Blue Belt.DevNet Specialist: Knowledge in network and software automation, microservices, containers, cloud, databases.Experience with SONiC: Specific experience with this network operating system would be an asset.
