This role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of CX design, working closely with various CX team members and stakeholders across our organization. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** As an intern for the Pearson VUE CX team, you will support a team of experienced strategists, designers, and researchers applying best practices in CX to: + Envision transformed end-to-end customer experiences that are inclusive of diverse human needs and aligned with business objectives and strategy + Find solutions to CX-impacting business challenges + Shape the delivery of experience for new business opportunities **In support of these activities, you will:** + Own and create design artifacts as needed for projects and for TOPAZ design system use. + Example artifacts include: user flows, style guides, components, patterns, page layouts, graphics, and create/maintain design documentation. + Utilize Figma to create low and high-fidelity designs, ensuring a seamless user experience. + Develop interactive prototypes that demonstrate the functionality and flow of the user interface that could be used in usability testing. + Learn and contribute to the TOPAZ design system following Pearson VUE's brand guidelines and design best practices. + Participate in team meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and insights utilizing latest industry trends and incorporate innovative design approaches. + Collaborate with CX team members, stakeholders, and development teams to understand user needs and business objectives. **REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS** We are looking for candidates who possess: + A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field (active pursuit of such a degree will also meet this qualification). + Proficiency in Figma and other design tools. + Strong understanding of UX principles and methodologies. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills. + Ability to create low and high-fidelity designs and prototypes. + Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. + **Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.** + Passion for creating user-centered designs and experiences. **WHAT WE OFFER** Joining Pearson VUE as a CX and UX Intern will provide you with: + Hands-on experience working on real projects that impact our users and business. + Mentorship from experienced professionals in the CX and UX fields. + Opportunities to expand your portfolio with diverse projects. + A collaborative and inclusive work environment. + Flexible work hours to accommodate your academic schedule. + Potential for future full-time employment based on performance and business needs. **APPLICATION PROCESS** To apply for this internship, please submit the following: + Your updated resume. + A link to your portfolio showcasing your design work. + Contact information for at least two professional or academic references. **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION** Pearson is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
