Customer Experience Design Specialist – ALEKS Focus

Under the direction of the Director of Digital Teaching and Learning, the Customer Experience Design Specialist will drive the design and execution of professional learning programs, resource development, and certification processes for ALEKS and ALEKS Adventure platforms. This role will play a key part in supporting both internal teams and external clients by creating impactful training experiences and ensuring educators, administrators, and new hires have the resources and knowledge they need to succeed. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customer-facing content and manage resources, all while aligning with McGraw Hill’s commitment to educational excellence. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. What you will be doing: Design and Develop Professional Learning Programs: Collaborate with internal team members to design and develop professional learning sessions and resources for internal teams and external clients, focused on enhancing the knowledge and utilization of ALEKS and ALEKS Adventure platforms. This includes creating session materials, resources, and training content. Facilitate Onboarding for New Hires: Lead the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring they receive comprehensive training on ALEKS products and internal systems. You will work with our internal team to initially support new hires, with certification reviews transitioning to your oversight. Review Certification Submissions: Oversee the internal certification process by reviewing employee portfolios and ensuring they meet the standards for certification. This includes managing the review process and collaborating with internal stakeholders to maintain certification quality. Create and Manage Resources: Develop a variety of internal and external resources, such as videos, training guides, one-pagers, and best practices for ALEKS and ALEKS Adventure platforms. You will work closely with internal team members to identify needs and produce high-quality materials that support professional learning efforts. Support ALEKS Educator Communities: Manage and update resources within the ALEKS Educator Communities, ensuring timely and relevant content is available. Engage with the educator community through posts, updates, and supporting efforts to foster community involvement and satisfaction. We are looking for someone with… Experience in professional learning design, instructional content creation, or related fields. Strong knowledge of the ALEKS and ALEKS Adventure platform. Proficiency in designing both internal and customer-facing materials using a variety of design tools. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Experience in onboarding and certification processes is a plus. Collaborative team player with a passion for improving education outcomes. The pay range for this position is between $93,950 - $95,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
