Customer Finance Operations Coordinator

We are hiring a Customer Finance Operations Coordinator- 'Trade Spend Coordinator' in our Bloomington, MN or Marshall, MN location. In this role, you will manage trade promotions by overseeing audits, payments, and compliance while analyzing deductions and trends to improve accuracy, efficiency, and profitability. It involves collaborating with customers and teams, ensuring data integrity, monitoring controls, utilizing trade systems, and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Manage customer trade programs, including tracking, validation, reporting, payments, and accruals, while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.Analyze trade spend data to evaluate the effectiveness of promotions, discounts, and other trade marketing activities.Validate claim data integrity for sales reporting, leveraging internal and external sources to support business strategy and financial decisions.Identify and resolve trade discrepancies by collaborating with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams.Monitor trends, recommend profitability opportunities, and ensure compliance with internal trade spending guidelines.Develop tracking and reporting tools to analyze trade program performance and communicate insights, risks, and action steps to maximize results.Prepare and present trade claim data as needed while providing insights to support cross-functional teams in optimizing trade spend performance.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent experience preferred

Years of Related Experience: 0-3 years related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Basic to intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Word Excel, Microsoft Office and OutlookBasic to intermediate ability in the accessing entry of information into and retrieval of data from electronic databases such as SAP.Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.Basic ability to conduct numeric analysisThe ability to work effectively within limited amounts of supervision.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation range for this position is $18.90 - $33.00 per hour. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
