About the Role

Development of data analytics and identify growth opportunity in data to help the businesses on key initiatives to improve retention, increase acquisition, x-sell, and up-sell efficiency, improve business performance, provide better customer experience through enhanced engagement, and handle and enhance the infrastructure of Data Warehouse in continuously strengthening capabilities for customer / business analyses

Roles and Responsibilities:

Achieve the critical metrics assigned through effective deployment of customer-centric strategyDrive engagement, retention, repurchase, cross-sell of existing customers and nurture new customer acquisition through right segmentation & propositions, robust channel support and data-driven analyticsLeverage new technologies and analytics innovation to drive customer repurchase and contactable base, an improving retention levels via data/analytics and insight-led initiatives for both individual and corporate customersUse data analytics to help marketing, customer and sales departments to improve sales effectiveness in different touch pointsIdentify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence the direction of the business of cross functional groupsCreate compelling business presentations to explain to the business units the main insights of the developed propensity modelsWork with the digital information from AIA websites/Social Media to monitor customer journey and see opportunities for x-selling and better servicing the customersExplore alternative sources of information, such as social media, blogs, mobile to understand customer behavior and unveil market opportunitiesCreate proper presentation and documentations of all analytical solutions developedRetrieve, analyse and summarise business, operations, customer and economic data in order to develop business intelligence and optimise effectivenessApply programs such as SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI in analyzing and summarizing data insights to explain variances and trends for business solutions

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a numerate subject area e.g. Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science with a strong computer programming componentAt least 6 of years working experience in data mining, data modeling, business or customer analytics, crafting IT solutions and execution of database campaign, ideally with experience in predictive analyticsTenacious, with a desire to ‘get to the bottom’ of things with sound logical reasoning and deep-thinking abilityExposure to all stage of analytics project lifecycle (identification, extraction, loading, transforming/shaping, analyzing, developing and tracking)Proven understanding of data quality risks and ability to carry out vital quality checks to validate results acquiredProven hands-on experience in the use of at least one sophisticated data analysis platform (e.g. SQL, Python, R, SAS, SPSS)Sound knowledge of programming in SQL or other programming experienceArticulate, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Adaptable, able to interact and build strong relationships with people from a diverse range of backgroundsFast learner with a willing attitude. Intellectually rigorous, with strong analytical skills and a passion for dataPrior experience in financial institutions and knowledge of insurance business, agency model, healthcare analytics is helpfulExperience in big data environment and tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics is a plusGood command of written and spoken Chinese and EnglishWe offer comprehensive employee benefits e.g. group medical insuranceYou are required to acquire relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities
