The Customer Interaction Center Representative provides customer service support to Ostomy end users following surgery. The position collects medical documentation and patient information in order to facilitate referrals to180 Medical or another Retailer for Ostomy product supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Contact clients to collect medical documentation, insurance information and end user dataVerify insurance for existing new patientsProvide information about ConvaTec Ostomy and Skin Care productsHandle incoming phone calls from clients regarding product and customer service issuesScan and fax all types of documentation for patientsRequest Medicare documentation on Medicare clientsMake entries as appropriate in Keystone, ConvaTec’s CRM systemRefer patients to ConvaTec’s Customer Interaction Center (CIC) Nurse team to address medical questionsSupport Team Supervisor on miscellaneous projectsPerform follow up phone calls to clients after initial contactVerify that client files are complete and all necessary documentation is in placeAll other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma, college degree preferred, not requiredSix months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceTyping: 35-40 wpm with 40 (adjusted) highly recommendedPossess medical administrative skillsGood communication skills with professionals in clinics and hospitals is requiredSales experience is preferredAbility to reason, problem solve, and think outside the boxMulti-task a variety of issuesGood organization skills and can prioritize tasksProficient in Microsoft Office programsGood attention to detailReliable/dependableFlexible and adaptable to changes in environment and industryTeam Player; work well with othersExceptional customer service skillsOutbound / Inbound call experience
