The PositionKey Responsibilities
Ensure supply to customers by partnering with Global CSM(Customer Supply Manager) for upstream replenishment from central packaging site incl. proactive exception management. Coordinate timely replenishment by working with cross functional teams to ensure local good receiving & releasing can be executed on time. Support global CSM in setting proper planning parameters that fit into China dynamic requirements, such as safety stock targets, lead times, order frequency, etc. for assigned product portfolios and drive a solid supply plan for each product. Drive alignment on the Service Level Agreement with the Global Product Supply Chain community.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate the changing regulatory/policy landscape into supply solutions and work with CSM to ensure it is reflected properly into our replenishment & inventory plan for China. Details follow the RACI of China Supply Chain Operating Model.
Be accountable for in-country inventory distribution requirement planning. Understand the latest business and channel strategies to drive solid inventory replenishment plan and execution for multi-DCs to ensure product availability for timely delivery into channels with agreed customer service level.
Proactively identify supply risks & issues and drive mitigations/solutions timely. Manage the communications with critical Global and Local stakeholders (e.g. CSM, CVSP, etc.) in event of potential warehouse backlogs and patient-level stock-outs. Prompt escalation of any inability to supply.
Oversee In country Inventory incl. shelf life management. Timely flag any risks of write-off or short shelf life and work with cross functional teams to drive mitigations/solutions and continuous improvement.
Own the Supply Review as a part of China pre Sales & Operations Planning process. Represent China Supply for assigned products, bringing in upstream and downstream Supply Chain deep insights for pre S&OP discussions.
Ensure timely Launch Supply Readiness by facilitating the planning and execution for post-approval activities in line with Local Launch Strategy and Global Launch process.
Support product lifecycle management(phase in & phase out). Ensure appropriate supply chain set-up (incl. e.g. master data) in-line with the life cycle status of the product/portfolio.
Drive problem solving and root cause analysis when business requires.
As part of the bigger supply chain group, to also co-own the KPI of Backlog/Stockout and Inventory Target. Closely monitor and drive the achievement of agreed service level metrics.
Contribute to the supply chain design together with the CVSP and support implementation of supply solutions to meet customer requirements
Drive efficiency through identifying value-adding opportunities through technology and data in-line with the digital roadmap.
Lead & implement supply projects/initiatives to gain efficiency and meet customer needs.
Implement/change Supply Chain processes to be compliant vs local regulations and Roche directives. Drive continuous process improvement and pioneer for excellence.
Ad-hoc projects, tasks or activities assigned by line manager and senior management.

Skills & Capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management related discipline or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
