The Customer Marketing National Manager leads a talented group of Customer Marketing experts specializing in Retail, Wholesale & DSD, On-Trade, and Field Sales Operations, partnering with the Marketing Director with a matrix reporting into the VP, MD. The position requires significant influence and the ability to navigate a matrix environment. Success depends on a strong drive, excellent communication and influencing skills, and bold, enterprise-wide thinking.
What You Can Expect
Lead, inspire, and develop the Customer Marketing & Execution team, fostering a culture of leadership, accountability, and responsibility.
Support the delivery of commercial financial targets (NSV, NSV o/c, GP, GP p/c, overheads, profitability, ROI, and value share) versus budget and brand/portfolio objectives.
Collaborate with key stakeholders (VP, MD, Sales Director, Marketing Director, Finance Director) to develop business and portfolio strategies, yearly budgets, quarterly projections, trade terms, price structures, and profit margins.
Lead the creation, implementation, and follow-up of Customer Marketing & Execution initiatives, ensuring brilliant execution at the point of sale and using Brand-developed distinctive assets and toolkits.
Manage and optimize the Country Customer Marketing A&P budget, ensuring optimal spending and oversight.
Communicate company vision and strategies and manage the performance and development of the team, providing opportunities and coaching with ongoing appreciative & constructive feedback.
Develop and implement a commercial planning process that aligns with the company's integrated planning process (finance, marketing) and bridges BFM and Customers’ strategic and financial goals with mutually agreed objectives and aligned activities.
What You Bring to the Table
8-10 years of experience in Marketing/Trade Marketing/Commercial/Business roles in FMCG/CPG with a proven track record of achieving superior results.
Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
Strong planning and business management skills.
Experience managing large, multi-layered, diverse teams.
Strong strategic and brand-building skills, and good analytical skills.
Knowledge of Commercial/RTM Strategy, Channel Management, Commercial Planning, and Key Account Management.
Understanding of P&L management, pricing strategies, profitability analysis, revenue management, and value chain analysis.
High drive, results-oriented, highly proactive, and agile leader.
Strong leadership, team building, and coaching skills.
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
Strong cross-collaboration and team collaboration skills.
Persuasive communicator, both oral and written.
