Job summary – What to expect:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Marketing Specialist, UK & Ireland to join our Marketing team.
You will create high-impact campaigns which move CooperVision to become the customer’s and eye care professional’s (ECPs) partner of choice for contact lenses (CLs). You will be a key marketing representative on customer business teams for strategic customers (SCs) (national accounts (NAs) and key accounts KAs) and key channels including development, co-ordination and execution of value creating customer marketing strategies and activities.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside the Senior Customer Marketing Manager on the development and execution of meaningful customer marketing plans within SCs. To be the Customer Marketing representative on Customer Business Teams for which the role is assigned. Work with Global Key Accounts team to implement strategic priorities in the market. Creation and implementation of customer-specific or key channel consumer campaigns/communication to drive category and brand share including digital/online campaigns. Develop compelling commercial selling stories to excite and engage customers in the campaigns ensuring that CooperVision is the customer CL partner of choice. Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of customer account plans and initiatives. Create value-added activity further enhancing CooperVision’s reputation with customers and helping to drive growth of the CL market and our share eg insight, tools, etc. Develop and own relationships with the customer’s marketing team to foster joint marketing plans for the CL category. To be the lead marketing contact for one NA and several KAs, acting as the customer’s voice, ensuring all activity helps to build business credibility and meet or exceed targets. To act as the customer’s own label brand manager for the UK&I to drive the success of the CL category and own label within defined customers/channels working collaboratively with respective account managers, brand marketing & professional affairs. Support the roll out of new product launches and innovations for SCs and key channels. Manage customer specific advertising and promotion (A&P) budgets and feed into wider UK&I A&P budget planning & tracking. To contribute to the development of the annual UK&I marketing plan, support the development of actionable strategies to grow revenue with customers and drive successful execution in key channels working closely with the wider marketing team, sales and customer service functions to ensure tools and assets meets market needs and brand guidelines.A full job description is available upon request.
About you:

Experience & Education:
Required
Previous experience in B2B marketing
Preferred
Sales or account management experience Experience in a business-to-business marketing management role Experience in the optical industry Excellent cross-functional team leadership and project management. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. An intuitive and inquisitive marketing mind, able to seek out and identify best-practice and adapt it to create step-change in business performance. The ability to create simple, persuasive, commercial arguments and category stories.
