Customer Marketing Specialist
Customer Marketing Specialist Job Description: As a Customer (Lifecycle) Marketing Specialist, you'll work with Customer Marketing Managers to execute and track marketing campaigns that drive retention, advocacy, referrals, migration, and product engagement. You'll build on your marketing experience by supporting with the execution of campaigns across email, webinars, events, and direct mail, helping optimize customer journeys and boost brand loyalty. This role is an opportunity to build on your marketing skills in a data-driven environment while making a real impact on the customer experience at Sage. Minimum Qualifications: • 2 years of marketing experience (ideally within customer/lifecycle marketing or demand generation marketing) • Basic understanding of marketing terminology, concepts, funnels and key performance metrics across channels such as email, webinars, events, and direct mail. • Familiarity with audience segmentation (e.g., by location, industry/vertical) and a general understanding of marketing research. • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) to support campaign tracking and reporting. • Basic proficiency and hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel for reporting • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - you are known for being an active listening and an engaging, inquisitive, proactive communicator. • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, meet deadlines with solutions-focused approach. • Comfortable working in an agile environment, adapting to shifting priorities, and effectively collaborating with different teams. • Eager to learn and grow within customer marketing. About Your Team The Customer (Lifecycle) Marketing team is responsible for growing revenue within our existing customer base. We use data, insights, and experimentation to drive cross-sell, upsell, migration, and churn reduction—contributing to overall revenue targets for North America. Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Assist in building out and executing customer marketing campaigns across email, webinars, direct mail, and SMS. • Manage campaign data by importing, organizing, and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems like Salesforce and Outreach. • Prepares marketing reports by organizing campaign results data to track and optimize performance metrics. • Coordinate and attend meetings with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing Automation, and Product Marketing) to support campaign execution and alignment.
