The Position

Our company is seeking a Customer Master Data Management Senior Specialist to join our Animal Health IT division. This role is a unique opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand and meet customer master data management (MDM) needs. With a particular focus on our Commercial, Sales, and Marketing departments, you will have the chance to propose innovative MDM solutions that drive our mission forward and help us achieve a customer 360 view.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of Customer MDM processes and capabilities, focusing on data cleanliness, customer onboarding and enabling data-driven decision-making for commercial functions. Your role will involve partnering with internal business partners, IT colleagues, and vendors to implement innovative ideas and customer insights. The role is focused on Customers across our entire AH Enterprise, across CRM and ERP.

What will you do?

Work closely with business partners to identify and interpret commercial, sales, and marketing customer master needs and respond with configurable customer MDM solutions with high data quality.Assists in managing and developing customer master data products throughout their lifecycle, applying technical knowledge, and understanding of the product's details.Contributes to defining the customer master data vision and strategy, focusing on value, business outcome, and user experience.Coordinate with cross- functional teams to identify opportunities for customer onboarding process optimization by leveraging MDM solutions.Collaborate with business partners to define customer master data quality rules (incl. duplicate checks) and translate these into technical requirements for the development teams.Analyze deduplication results – and collaborate with business partners to define and coordinate actions and clean-up measures.Participates in customer master data product decisions, ensuring alignment with product strategy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Helps in creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the customer master data product backlog to maximize value delivery and long-term sustainability.Participates in release and support planning and execution (go to market).

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related disciplineMinimum of 3 years of experience with customer MDM/Data Governance/Analytics Tools (e.g., Informatica MDM, Reltio, Semarchy, SAP MDG, Aera, Collibra Data Governance, Tibco EBX)Strong Analytical Skills on customer master data management and solid understanding of business principlesExperience in Agile and Scrum methodologies in developing data-driven products, with a strong focus on customer- centricityProven experience in guiding the design, development, and testing of new applications, platforms, systems, and workflowsAbility to ensure alignment with business needs and proactively seeking for ways to improve solution by providing advice on possible solutions to stakeholdersAbility to assess alignment between requirements, solutions, and eventual outcomesTechnical knowledge to operate in a digital environment and work closely with technical SMEs and technical job families, such as Information Architecture and Software EngineeringStrong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to influence and motivate othersExcellent emotional intelligence, decision-making skills, and a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityStrong networking and partnerships skillset

Nice to have

Experience with MDM solutions in the pharmaceutical industryExperience working with customer engagement models, customer and product MDM, sales & marketing data
