With over 70,000 employees worldwide, we are committed to innovation, sustainability, and empowering our people to grow their careers in a supportive and inclusive environment. **The Role** We are seeking a Customer Onboarding Risk Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring robust due diligence and compliance with AML/CTF regulations. **Key Responsibilities** + Review high-risk and complex customer applications, including PEPs, high-risk jurisdictions, and adverse media cases. + Act as a subject matter expert on UK AML and CTF regulations. + Analyse customer data, transaction patterns, and source of funds to assess risk. + Draft clear and concise Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reports with actionable recommendations. + Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to resolve AML concerns. + Conduct ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews of high-risk accounts. + Identify opportunities to enhance AML processes and controls. + Stay up to date with regulatory developments and industry best practices. **About You** + Degree in law, finance, business, or equivalent experience. + Strong knowledge of UK AML/CTF legislation (e.g. POCA, JMLSG, MLR 2017, FATF) and EU AML Directives. + Experience with screening tools (e.g. World-Check, Dow Jones, LexisNexis) and case management systems. + Excellent analytical, research, and written communication skills. + Professional certification such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent is highly desirable. **What We Offer** At John Deere, our total rewards go beyond salary. + 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service) + Option to buy/sell holiday + Subsidised canteen + Flexible and inclusive working environment + Competitive bonus scheme + Contributory pension scheme + Group Income Protection and Life Assurance + Home office equipment + Ongoing investment in personal and professional development John Deere is an equal opportunities employer.
