Job Title: Customer Operations Coordinator

Job Type: Long-term Contract

Location: Memphis,TN

Position Overview: Beacon Hill's client is seeking an Customer Operations Coordinator based in Memphis,TN to perform essential operational tasks to meet the transportation needs of customers and carriers. This role focuses on data integrity, quality, and efficiency, supporting operational functions within a customer-specific, vertical segment, or centralized operations setting.The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of expereince in customer service with a Bachelor's degree.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute operational tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency, including:Providing shipment informationCreating orders and activating shipmentsBuilding and assigning loadsScheduling appointments and tracking shipmentsEntering events and invoicingMonitor task boards and assigned email accounts to address customer and carrier requests.Document events accurately using knowledge from standard operating procedures (SOPs) and past experience; follow escalation procedures as needed.Follow up on customer and carrier requests to ensure satisfaction; escalate unresolved issues when necessary.Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems according to company and customer standards.Perform additional duties or responsibilities as assigned based on team or location-specific needs.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma or GED2+ years of customer service experience

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePrevious experience in a customer service environment, especially in a call center or similar settingStrong communication, prioritization, and time management skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in previous rolesCommitment to a diverse and inclusive work environment
