The Opportunity:
Roche Diagnostics is seeking an experienced Customer Project Manager - TD to lead our external Customer implementations by developing, creating, documenting, and facilitating highly professional project plans to implement Roche products and services within our Customer facilities. This position is responsible for projects with high complexity, with medium to high risk, and of long duration. The Customer Project Manager is a trusted consultant, liaison, and advisor regarding all facets of the implementation project plan. You will:
Design, gain agreement, communicate, and lead the execution of professional project strategies and plans for external-facing large diagnostic system customer implementations adhering to Roche Diagnostics policies and procedures
Identify, acquire, form, lead and win the commitment of internal Roche Diagnostics and external customer stakeholders/resources in assembling a project team
Collaborate with project stakeholders and teams to outline work plans and assign duties, responsibilities, and accountabilities
Champion the program/project through business processes
Conduct pre-purchase, order, pre-implementation, implementation, and post-project review meetings for Roche Diagnostics customers and internal stakeholders.
Recommend methods and develop policies and processes to improve area operations, processes, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers that will provide long term direction for Roche Tissue Diagnostics organizational strategies
Coach and mentor peers and junior level project managers
This is a remote field-based position with the expectation to travel approximately 15-20% overnight throughout the US. Ideal candidate to reside within 50 miles of a major US metropolitan airport
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree
5 years relevant project management work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP certification
Extensive knowledge of internal systems and business procedures
Knowledge of key competitors
Knowledge of customer needs and features/benefits to meet those needs
Experience with Laboratory Information System and IT Middleware Implementation Projects
Experience in cloud-based project management and other cloud-based software
Strong communication, influence, leadership, conflict management, and negotiation skills

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $101,200.00 - $188,000.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
