Summary of Role:
The Customer Quality Engineering (CQE) team provides leadership and technical support on quality and reliability issues to internal and external customers and works closely with the Fab teams to ensure we have robust quality systems and processes to deliver on business commitments. As a CQE, you will provide expert technical knowledge to drive quality/ reliability issues and improvement opportunities to closure, as well as contribute to the resolution of complex problems related to quality systems. CQEs are key leaders in communicating quality, reliability and manufacturing information and procedures to external customers. In addition, our CQEs work with cross-functional teams and other GlobalFoundries Fabs to drive strategic initiatives that directly impact customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities:
Drive cross-functional teams to address and close all Quality issues raised by clients; contribute to similar in-fab issue resolution
Effectively communicate status of Quality-related tasks, projects and metrics to upper management, customers, and internal teams
Work across functional teams in Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply and others, both within Fab and across all GLOBALFOUNDRIES fabs
Establish Standard Work and Metrics for Quality-related Continuous Improvement activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Serve as focal point for bringing the “voice of the customer” to other Fab 8 teams
Utilize “LEAN” practices to implement and improve Fab 9 CQE standards and processes
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications
Education/Experience – Engineering or Technology-related bachelor's degree
Years of Experience – 2-5 years of experience
Travel – <5% travel
Good communication, interpersonal, and team skills
Ability to present data effectively
Problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and their supporting measurements and processes
Working knowledge of quality and reliability fundamentals
Fluency in English Language – Written & verbal
Physical Capacity Demands – Desk, phone and in-person conferences/meetings
Preferred Qualifications
Education/Experience – Engineering or Technology-related master's degree
Experience with leading teams and or projects
LEAN Manufacturing knowledge
Previous quality experience
Working knowledge of semiconductor design, manufacturing, and support processes
Expected Salary Range
$65,400.00 - $145,800.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
