**What you’ll do:**
+ Utilize the APQP approach to ensure seamless handover during production transfer and/or implementation of new projects. This will include FMEA, control plan, pilot production supervision, MSA (measurement systems analysis), productivity studies. Is responsible for the efficiency and quality performance of the analysis of information related to transferred and/or newly implemented production information (NPI)
+ Define and implements quality documents and instructions as part of production transfer and/or new implementation. Provide training to staff on these documents
+ Identify opportunities for improvement and assist in the implementation of process improvements. May develop and recommend improved methods and procedures to facilitate production process control
+ Communicate with plant personnel and the Manufacturing Transfer/NPI (new product implementation) team to ensure appropriate support is provided to manufacturing and quality assurance functions with the pursuitof achieving quality assurance goals. Support quality assurance at all Eaton factories. This will mean a maximum of 25% of the time to be able to travel as needed
+ Utilize product and process knowledge as a cross-functional liaison for product assembly and troubleshooting assembly and test issues
+ Assist in or leads the process of taking corrective action in the incised loop (PDCA) to identify non-conformances (i.e. supplier, internal process or customer) as a member of the 8D team or team leader
+ Lead all quality aspects of change management utilizing the APQP and PPAP approach
+ Keep up to date with industry and labor standards through personal development, continuous training and certification where required
+ Manage the RoHS certification system at site level
+ Provide support in site specific certifications
**Qualifications:**
+ Higher education completed with Bachelor's degree - manufacturing or industrial engineering or other equivalent degree
+ 3-5 years of experience in technical quality engineering
**Skills:**
+ Previous knowledge and experience with all quality assurance systems, lean manufacturing principles and practices, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Kaizen activities, programs and methods related to quality and continuous improvement are required
+ Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Minitab
+ Good process orientation, analytical and planning skills
+ Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
+ Ability to assess risk, proactively capitalize on opportunities and challenges
+ Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team and influence others
+ Excellent analytical, problem solving, project management, project management and advocacy skills
+ Good time management skills requiring little supervision
+ Ability to identify and resolve production issues arising
