Summary of Role
We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to join our team as part of our worldwide Customer Quality Teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operations of the Site Customer Quality Teams to ensure flawless execution and first time right customer quality services.
This position is based at our GlobalFoundries office at Bangalore, India.
Responsibilities include:
+ Ensure timely execution and follow-up of tasks in the Customer Quality systems.
+ Ensure compliance with international standards, e.g. ISO9001, IATF16949 and VDA in terms of documenting evidence of completed tasks.
+ Timely tracking and publishing operational KPIs and preparing internal reports in close cooperation with the site CQE teams.
+ Prepare routine customer quality and KPI reports, ensure compliance to agreed CuSRs, drive review with site CQE teams.
+ Coordinate review and assessment of customer special requirements across GF facilities.
+ Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and work with business functions to implement corrective actions.
+ Monitors follow up on customer audit corrective action plans.
+ Drive continuous improvement activities to strive for a OneGF customer experience, improve system/workflow robustness and efficiency by standardization and automation of procedures.
+ Support site CQ Engineers in managing strategic customers as well as independently responding to customer inquiries for selected customer groups
Required qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science is preferred, Master from a top ranked university is a plus.
+ 2 ~ 3 years of work experience in quality assurance, process improvement, SPC or related field, high-tech and/or semiconductor experience is a plus.
+ Fast learner, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with international team members and stakeholders.
+ Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Language Fluency – English (written & verbal)
+ This position requires global time-zone coverage in the US, Germany and Singapore and hence you may have to work early or later in the day.
Additional preferred qualifications:
+ Hands on experience on problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
+ Working knowledge of ISO9001/ IATF16949/ VDA 6
+ Work experience with multi-national and cross functional environments.
+ Possess the right attitude to get results with a Growth Mindset
+ Base knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing
+ Programming skills in SharePoint and/or Power BI
