Your Team, Your Impact
The new candidate will be part of the Quality and Reliability organization, supporting the Customer and Product Quality group.As a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE), you are the voice of the customer for quality and reliability. You will be the key customer-facing contact to manage customers’ quality requirements and developing customer relationships. You are accountable for the customers' product quality and reliability; identifying plans and driving action to bring Marvell to the number one supplier quality ranking position. You will be responsible for reaching out to the customers to actively assess their needs and drive the best in class standards within Marvell.
What You Can Expect
Provide customer quality engineering support for China automotive customersBe the customer quality champion and voice of the customer within Marvell; ensuring customer requirements are understood and metAssess reliability risk, develop and execute to Qualification plans and resolve quality issuesLead cross-functional teams to achieve best in class quality position with customersHost regular customer engagement activities and proactively share quality health assessment of customer productsLead cross functional problem-solving activities (8D) with intent to improve response (TAT) to customers as well as buffer internal organizations from customer involvementDrive customer-related quality communications, both reactive and proactive to closure including internal communication to the executive teamLead customer quality improvement programs/projects required for customer metrics improvement (quality rank, scorecards via quarterly business reviews)Acknowledge and drive closure of all quality-related issues, RMAs, and customer requests ensuring key stakeholders are informed timely of progressBe the key communication channel for dedicated quality initiatives such as Product Change Notices (PCNs)Ensure customer requirements are integrated into Marvell’s Quality Management System (QMS) and reflected in processes, procedures and standardsWhat We're Looking For
Bachelors of Science degree from a leading university in electrical engineering, quality, or related technical discipline10+ years of experience in a quality, or product, or customer facing engineering role7+ years of experience in regional or key account customer quality5+ years of experience with China automotive Tier 1s and Tier 0sBackground in semiconductor manufacturing/assembly or product/testExperience with PPAP processDemonstrated experience with customer crisis management desiredExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient with MS Office & data analysis toolsChina customer quality engineering functions with automotive focusRepresent the voice of your customer base within MarvellManage customer requests including communication and follow-up to ensure compliance within MarvellEnsure customer specific requirements are documented and followedCoordinate customer visits and auditsTrack and ensure closure for all open customer actionsManage customer feedback/ppm/scorecard trackingManage or coordinate customer communication for customer FA status and 8D reportsAct as technical customer interface for all quality related questions/inquiriesCoordinate quarterly quality reviews with key customersAdditional Compensation and Benefit Elements
