The purpose of this role is to own and manage the impactful delivery of ad-hoc customer research projects, working in close collaboration and thought- partnership with stakeholders and members of the CMI team, ensuring that key insights across our body of knowledge are communicated with clarity and relevance to the business.
What's the job? Support the identification and refinement of insights needs and priorities in collaboration with stakeholders both within the CMI team and in other parts of the business (Group Functions and banners)Design and conduct customer research projects across a wide range of methodologies as needed depending on the priorities (e.g. in-home research, purchase journey research, product development testing, brand and usage surveys)Deliver well-structured and engaging reports, summaries, presentations and workshops to ensure that knowledge is communicated with precision, clarity and impactProactively support colleagues in the interpretation of customer research findings to generate insight that can be applied to strategy and/or development of ranges and productsSynthesise knowledge across multiple data sources, using both existing insight and new primary research as needed to bring a rounded and coherent perspectiveSupport and work in close collaboration with other members of the CMI function to contribute to cross-CMI projects and initiativesProcure and manage 3rd party research agencies as appropriate; also implement and facilitate fully internally run research as neededEnsure insights are readily available and shared across the CMI team and democratised as appropriate with other stakeholders across the wider business both in our banners and in Group Functions What you'll bring Significant experience in designing, implementing and using a wide range of ad-hoc customer research using both quantitative and qualitative research methodologiesExcellent analysis and synthesis skills – can ‘join the dots’ across different data sources and enjoys finding patterns and themes to build a robust and meaningful storyStrong communicator - communicates confidently, succinctly and with impact, both verbally and in writingExperienced in designing and facilitating workshops to encourage collaboration, alignment and innovationAlways curious, proactively seeks out new information, ideas and approachesFluent in written and verbal English is a must, with fluency in French as a strong plusBe Customer Focused – constantly improving our customers’ experience
