Customer Retention Marketing Analyst

Job Summary
The Customer Retention Marketing Analyst's primarily responsible for execution, performance and analysis of the App Messaging and Homepage programs. Success will be measured by return-on-investment metrics, as well as overall execution of the plan. This person will report to the Senior Manager, Customer Retention and collaborate with various cross functional teams including Marketing, Ecommerce, and IT as well as outside partners and vendors. This person must have incredible communication skills, be able to adapt to the changing digital landscape, build relationships and collaborate effectively, and see challenges as opportunities. To perform this job successfully, the Digital Marketing Analyst must be able to perform each essential duty of the job outlined below in addition to special projects as assigned.

Job Functions

Support messaging and segmentation strategies for the App Notifications, App Home Screen and Homepage programs to drive traffic and demand to stores and belk.com while retaining customers and delivering long-term valueIdentify opportunities to maximize performance and lead “test and learn” agenda/calendarization with team and cross-functional partners; support testing initiatives across the businessIngest planned and unplanned business changes and promotional updates; efficiently and effectively modify, with support of Customer Retention team, plans accordingly to maximize overall channel performance and meet shifting needs of the businessPartner with key internal teams outside of customer retention to orchestrate App Notifications, App Home Screen and Homepage execution, including but not limited to marketing strategies, creative, CRM, digital merchandising and site operationsParticipate in external vendor relationships across status check-ins and coordinate communications required to App NotificationsLead reporting on App Notifications, App Home Screen & Homepage campaign performance & partner with Analytics team members as needed to support reporting needsOwn App Notifications, App Home Screen, Homepage & Special Project documentation (briefs, calendars, trackers, etc.) to ensure content plans are accurate and prioritized to support business needsAdditional performance reporting and ad hoc Customer Retention & Marketing projects as needed

Minimum Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent years of experience3 or more years of App, Email, Marketing, or related experienceAdobe Analytics experience preferredApp/App Notification related technology familiarity/experience preferred

A self-starter who is highly organized and can work independently, execute quickly, and prioritize their workStrong project management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrategy-driven mindset with proven ability to analyze, organize and derive insights and recommendationsIdeal candidates will have a strong sense of teamwork. Must have experience building and leverage cross functional & vendor relationships to effectively collaborate
