About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Segmentation and Initiatives, Consultant

Report to: Associate Director, Customer Marketing

Location: Ho Chi Minh

Function: Proposition and Marketing | Department: Customer Marketing

Type: Individual Contributor

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Be responsible for driving data-driven customer insights and implementing impactful initiatives to enhance engagement, loyalty, and business growth. This role combines analytical expertise with a strategic mindset to shape customer-centric offerings.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Customer Segmentation and Profiling (60%)

Segmentation Expertise: Identify and define customer personas by analyzing demographic, psychographic, behavioral, and geographic data to uncover new business opportunities.Leverage predictive and descriptive analytics to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors, translating insights into actionable strategies/ impactful business strategies.Data Analytics and Insights: Analyze customer data using clustering and behavioral patterns through tools like SQL, Python, and visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI) to identify clusters, patterns and trends. Extract actionable insights and identify unmet customer needs to develop meaningful customer touchpoints and engagement strategies.Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations and effectively communicate them to cross-functional teams and the Leadership Team, ensuring they inform and enhance ECM strategy development.

2.Design and Implementation of Customer-Centric Initiatives to serve upsell/cross-sell (40%)

Strategic Initiative Development: Lead the design of impactful offerings tailored to ECM and distribution channels, collaborating with SMEs (e.g., Actuary, Proposition teams) to finalize proposals.Integrate customer segmentation and personas into offerings aligned with customer journey and lifecycle goals.Execution and Integration: Partner with technical and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of offerings into workflows, aligning with ECM and business objectives.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to prepare systems, data, and processes for initiative execution.Drive the end-to-end execution of offerings, from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and measurable business impact.Continuously refine initiatives, ensuring internal buy-in for pilot projects and optimizing offerings based on performance metrics and feedback.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education – A bachelor’s degree preferable in Business Administration or FinanceExperience – At least 5 years of experience in customer marketing or customer analyticsMinimum 5+ years of experience in customer segmentation, data-driven strategy, or related rolesIn-depth of knowledge of insurance products to support propositions development and customer marketingExcellent communicationProficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI) is a plusExperience collaborating with actuarial teams and contributing to proposition design and offering development is a plusHands-on experience in system implementation, aligning technical processes with customer-focused strategiesProven ability to communicate effectively, including data storytelling and stakeholder engagement
