Eurofins Agro Testing is an accredited Agricultural testing laboratory that specialises in Soil, Plant and Water testing with laboratories located in Hindmarsh South Australia, Belmont Western Australia and Burleigh Heads Queensland. Our client base includes farmers, agronomists, rural retailers and research organisations with our samples originating from all across Australia.

There is now an opportunity for a permanent full time Customer Service and Administration Assistant to join Eurofins APAL. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of proficiency in client interactions and have experience in a customer facing role. As you will be situated on our reception desk, you must be welcoming and personable with an excellent phone manner. Extensive experience in the office suite of products including Outlook, Excel and Word is a must.

The role also involves but is not limited to:

Responding proactively and professionally to inbound calls and emailsWelcoming clients and handling client enquiries efficientlyGain understanding of our tests and test suitesLogging in and batching samplesReporting results and various other functions using our Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)General reception dutiesGeneral filing and creation of documents for our Quality Management SystemProactively contacting clientsOffering assistance to clients who are using our digital technology platformsOffering clients guidance on test suites and sampling materialsCreating invoices and assisting the Administration ManagerTracking client interactions using our CRM

Desirable Experience:

General invoicing experiencePrevious experience in a customer service / administrative roleAn interest in science and/or agriculture

Additional Information

Our admin team operates between 8:30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, with staggered starts between team members. On the job training will be provided across our services, systems and processes.
