Customer Service Administrator

Summary

This position provides administrative support to Josiah Parker. This role is critical to our member experience and requires a friendly, upbeat demeanor. The incumbent supports daily operations of the practice including responding to client service requests, completing post meeting work, maintaining client information, and other administrative tasks as assigned. The Client Services Administrator reports to and is employed by Josiah Parker.

The Client Services Administrator position is a part time, 20 hour a week role. Hours will be during standard business hours but are open to exact negotiation on schedule. This position is a 1099 role and no benefits are provided. Compensation is at $20/hr.

Job Description

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Handles incoming telephone calls to and responds to requests for informationPerforms routine administrative duties such as maintaining office supplies and processing mailPrepares or coordinates the preparation of routine correspondence, reports, and special projects typically of a routine natureSupports projects, administration of various programs, and processing functions as neededDrive client/member facing activity in the practice by scheduling meetings with client/members on behalf of the practice’s Financial AdvisorsUpdate the contact management system with client/member contact and preference informationAssist Financial Advisors in the preparation and follow up for the client/member meetingsAttend client meetings and take notesTracks practice expenses and oversees the practice bill payingProvides back-up support on tasks that do not require any type of licensing or registration for other staff members, as neededParticipates in the business planning processCompletes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Position Qualifications

Previous administrative/secretarial experience desiredStrong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learnAbility to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptionsAbility to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential informationBasic understanding of our products and services, and Thrivent Financial

As part of Josiah Parker's recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process.
