Job Description

Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) are looking for a Customer Service Aftermarket Administrator to join the Customer Services function. As a member of the team you will support the delivery and growth of our Customer aftermarket and support AOG business performance

Processing of spare orders, AOG orders and despatch of completed production against our customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

To issue quotations to customers taking due consideration of internal policies, procedures and authorisation limits.To work with supply chain & the Head of Pricing to gather costings to support customer quotations.To understand and interpret the customers’ requirements, including quality, delivery, packaging etc. and ensure that these requirements are reflected throughout the manufacturing cycle.To process customer orders onto the MRP system and follow through to ensure customers receive acknowledgements for their demands in a timely manner which accurately reflects the Company’s conditions of acceptance.To handle customer order enquiries in a responsive and professional manner.To pro-actively inform the customer of any changes during the scheduled production process that may impact upon the agreed delivery criteria, including the delivery date.To assist in the expediting of information to ensure that the customers’ requirements are met.To produce the required release and despatch paperwork, ensuring that these reflect the customers’ requirements as stated on the original order.To compile and issue regular order status reports, as agreed with customers.On major accounts, regularly reconcile the MRP order book with the customers’ own view of demand.To participate in periodic reviews with Customers as required.To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Head of Customer Aftermarket

Required Skills and Experience:

Demonstrated experience in a customer service role.Good customer interface skillsExceptional attention to detailWell organised and able to plan and schedule work effectively.Committed to customer satisfaction but with a strong understanding of the impact on the business.
