Customer Service Agent

Handles a high volume of calls daily, taking orders and providing information to customers on how their orders are progressing throughout the network, which includes  resolving essential product or service issues and following the escalation process as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Answers a high volume of incoming calls for order status updates and taking orders.Effectively utilizes the phone system to handle transfers, parks and voice mail.Answer the calls professionally, responding to complaints and inquiries in a courteous manner.​Follows-up on customer requests, orders, and issues promptlyHandles order entry of new jobs with DVI systemTracks orders using the DVI computer system.Tracks jobs to ensure timely deliveries.  Notifies customers of unexpected delays.Opens daily delivery boxes and receives framesProcesses customer creditsOther duties as required.

Experience and Education Requirements:

High School Diploma with some college preferred1 year call center experience or 3 - 5 years customer service experience is preferred.1-2 years optical experience is preferred.Knowledge of ZEISS lenses is preferred.Typing speed of 40 wpm is an asset.Excellent communication skills.Bilingual (French/English)Ability to work under pressure and multitask.Ability to solve problems independently.
