Do you have some experience in human services and are looking to grow your skills and knowledge? Join a community-based organization which has been supporting the most vulnerable families in Albany County for over 55 years. The Customer Service-Eligibility Navigator functions as the first point of centralized entry to ACAP programs and other needed resources through our community partners. Responsibilities include: + Interact with customers through phone, email, or in-person meetings and promote positive exchanges and relationships for people needing services + Complete intakes and assessments and gather documentation to help determine customer eligibility for services and facilitate customer enrollment into various ACAP programs and services + Facilitate customer enrollment into ACAP program and services as well other community agencies and programs, ensuring a smooth service transition + Collect data and maintain accurate case records Starting at $20.45 per hour; Monday-Friday; 37.5 hours per week QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of proven customer service and data entry experience are required. Call center experience is a PLUS! An associate's degree in human services, Social Work, or a related field is preferred. Basic PC skills including database entry, word processing, and spreadsheet skills are required. Bi- or Multi-lingual skills are a plus.
