Customer Service Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced and motivated Customer Service Manager to join our team in Plano, Texas. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the banking industry, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and support a dynamic customer service team. Your role will involve overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive and efficient customer service environment. Responsibilities: • Supervise the client services team in the absence of the Manager, ensuring seamless operations. • Oversee and enhance team efficiency through training and development initiatives. • Handle complex customer issues, complaints, and exceptions while providing coaching and feedback to team members. • Manage operational and compliance tasks, including audits, reporting, reconcilements, and procedural approvals. • Inspire and motivate employees, ensuring they are well-versed in all banking products and services. • Participate in recruiting, scheduling, evaluating performance, and addressing disciplinary matters as necessary. • Maintain accurate records and controls, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. • Collaborate on special projects or additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals. • Foster a customer-focused environment, resolving issues effectively and maintaining a positive attitude. Requirements • Proficiency with 10-key touch, Microsoft Office, and banking software applications. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, achieving results through collaboration. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on active listening. • Knowledge of banking products, services, policies, and regulatory guidelines, or the ability to learn quickly. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. • Developed problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and apply policies and procedures effectively.
