Customer Service Manager

We have an immediate opening for a multitasking Customer Service Manager to join our team at our Manchester, PA  location. Candidates with a Degree and/or prior management experience are preferred. 

Responsibilities:

Supervise personnel, which typically includes hiring, firing and performance management through employee evaluations, training, work allocation, problem resolution and enforcing progressive disciplineManage daily administrative operations of a department including establishing work priorities; assist in resolving problems related to the day-to-day operations of the unitOversee the customer service departmentProvide and/or oversee the provision of administrative assistance and support to the district manager, to include problem solving, project planning and management, fiscal management, day-to-day office coordination, and clerical servicesAssist with the development and implementation of reporting proceduresCoordinate department programs, seminars, workshops, travel arrangements, special projects, and/or events; may coordinate program/project development and planningPromote Waste Connections standard operating procedures, which assure efficient environmentally correct and safe workplace practicesDemonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systemsOther duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered3 years directly related management expertiseManagement experience in a call center environment is preferredKnowledge of MS Word and ExcelAbility to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignmentsOrganizing and coordinating skillsKnowledge of accounting proceduresAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingKnowledge of management principles and practicesKnowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory controlAbility to analyze and solve problemsAbility to gather data, compile information, and prepare reportsAbility to foster a cooperative work environment
