Customer Service Officer – Full Time – Sydney

BGIS is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our team in Sydney. About the Role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for incoming requests, providing timely and effective support to our clients and field teams. You’ll work within our 24/7 operations centre, ensuring all service calls are logged, prioritised, and followed through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Handle incoming service requests via phone, email, and internal systems Accurately log and assign jobs to appropriate technicians or service providers Monitor and follow up on outstanding work orders to ensure timely resolution Provide status updates and maintain clear communication with stakeholders Support the wider operations team with administrative tasks as needed

About You

Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks under pressure Confident using computer systems and multi-tasking between platforms Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays Australian citizenship is required due to security clearance requirements
