PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF FUNCTION
The Customer Service Representative serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Receive and accurately track telephone calls, emails and other communications from customers and sales staff Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling Place or cancel orders Resolve customer complaints via phone, email or fax. Issue credits, debits, file warranties and product defects Interaction and follow-up with multiple departments Excellent record keeping and organizational skills are required to track and maintain call information Communication between internal departments and external field sales and customers will be extensive. TEAM PLAYER!
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Keyboard and PC knowledge is required Excellent record keeping and organizational skills Ability to display patience and courtesy in all customer relations Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in written Ability to think quickly and logically to ensure expedient response to customer inquiries strong organization skills Ability to enter information into multiple screens while listening to information from customers
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of customer service experience Manufacturing environment experience a plus Call center experience a plus Bilingual a plus
