Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Physical Therapy Customer Service Rep/Aide.

As a Physical Therapy Customer Service Rep/Aide at MercyOne, you will Under close supervision, is responsible for assisting the Physical, Occupational and/or Speech Therapy staff in routine patient care activities.  Possesses the skills necessary to provide direct patient care specific to each age group in accordance with department protocol.  The age of the patients served range in age from infants to geriatrics. 

Schedule:

M - F with hours varying between 7-5.  Typically has 1 day off per week so working longer days 4 days per week.

General Requirements:

Must be able to put patients at ease and make them comfortable.Must be able to give clear instructions and work with minimal direct supervision.Must possess excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills.Must be able to plan day-to-day activities and to work with minimal direct supervision.Must be competent in providing clinical care to the patient population described in the department’s description of services section of the policy manual.Must be able to perform basic clerical duties including filing, phone and record keeping.Demonstrates and promotes customer satisfaction.Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.

Education:

High School Graduate.Previous patient care experience preferred.Experience in a Rehabilitation Department preferred.Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) will be required within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter.
