Job Description
The role of a Customer Service Representative I involves interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services, as well as handling and resolving complaints. This position may involve inbound, outbound, or a combination of both types of customer interactions. The representative is responsible for identifying customer issues, offering possible solutions, or providing follow-up as needed.
ResponsibilitiesResolve customer service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills.Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments.Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.Essential SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.Proficient interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.Previous experience with computer applications such as MS Outlook or data entry software.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with receptionist duties and medical terminology.Experience handling phone communications.High school diploma or GED preferred.0-2 years of customer service-related experience required.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
