The Customer Service Representative reports to the Customer Service Supervisor. The major areas of responsibility are: coordinates customer service related activity for the operations to ensure on-time shipment of product to customer. Reviews customer/vendor/internal department correspondence on day-to-day occurrences to react to customer demands.
Primary Responsibilities:
Proactive daily communication with customer and production to ensure on-time shipment of product and problem resolutionProcess hardcopy purchase orders and part releasesDevelop and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external customersCollaborate with various internal departments as neededUtilization of various reports to manage customer requirementsMaintain accurate customer dataMaintain current knowledge and understanding of customer specific requirements and systemsKnowledge and understanding of internal ERP system to sufficiently complete required tasksReconciliation of discrepancies with manufacturing cellsCoordinate expedite shipments per customer requestAbility to successfully manage multiple tasks at one timeOther tasks and duties as assignedPosition Skills and Experience Requirements:

2 year Administrative/Manufacturing degree or equivalent education and/or experienceMinimum 1-3 years in customer service/sales , related to a manufacturing environment or related fieldRequires a detail oriented person with proven organizational and communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience, plus working knowledge of customer relations, general computer operations, and coordinating of multiple tasksMicrosoft Excel, Word and Office competentStrong work ethic, reliable, able to work independently and in a team environment and self-motivated Ability to read part drawingsFlexibility and willingness to change daily responsibilities
