Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in North Canton, Ohio. This Contract-to-long-term position offers an excellent opportunity to manage customer accounts, foster strong relationships, and contribute to operational success across sales, supply chain, and manufacturing functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive account management, including price and delivery quotations, order entry, schedule adjustments, forecasting, and expediting. • Maintain and update customer information, ensuring accurate records for optimal account handling. • Collaborate with sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and other internal teams to address account-related issues and enhance delivery performance. • Apply intermediate product knowledge to effectively manage accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues promptly. • Communicate commercial terms clearly to both customers and the sales team, ensuring mutual understanding and smooth transactions. • Proactively manage orders, maintain order books, and consistently exceed customer expectations through responsiveness and reliability. • Analyze business decisions and guidelines, applying them appropriately to various customer scenarios. • Utilize intermediate system knowledge to conduct in-depth analyses supporting account management activities. • Support team objectives by demonstrating leadership and commitment to collaborative goals. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or account management. • Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills. • Advanced problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in account management scenarios. • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with supply chain and other departments. • Solid customer relations skills, including experience in order entry and handling inbound/outbound calls. • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with supply chain logistics and manufacturing processes. • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
