We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team of dedicated veterinary professionals at our fast-paced multi-doctor practice located in Long Beach. Our practice provides high-quality care to our patients with a positive, team-oriented work environment.

The ideal candidate will be a believer in our mission statement – Your pet’s health is our top priority and excellent service is our goal – and will aim to exceed pet owner’s expectations with their stellar customer service during every encounter. Each of our CSRs must possess good critical-thinking, problem-solving and interpersonal skills as well as compassion, a positive attitude, dedication and excellent communication skills. Multi- tasking, taking direction and accepting constructive criticism is essential. Punctuality and reliability is expected.

Requirements

High school diploma required1-2 years of customer service experience

Salary

$17.00 -$21.00.Salary range is depending on experience and skill level

Why We Need You


As the face of VCA the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

Customer service functions such as greeting clients and patients, answering telephones, scheduling and confirming appointments
Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clientsRequesting medical records and maintaining client and patient accounts accuratelyPresenting and explaining treatment plans and payment options.Recommending products or services to clients based on pet’s needsAnswering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and parasite prevention).Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.Maintaining a clean and well-organized reception area, exam rooms and client-facing areas of the hospital (including removal of animal waste) both inside and outside the hospital
