Customer Service Representative
Job Title: Shipper Support (RGM)Job Description On a day-to-day basis, you will be acting as a Remote Gate Agent supporting thousands of drivers across the country using two-way audio/video communication to verify/identify any necessary specifications on trucks and processes. You will coordinate, communicate, and provide updates daily to all parties involved in the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at warehouses, facilities, and distribution centers. We are looking for candidates who are extremely detail-oriented, can work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency, and are quick learners and technically savvy. This team is able to take on all gate operations, allowing associates onsite to focus on the daily operations that need to be completed. On a daily basis, you will be speaking to roughly 200 drivers, so excellent and clear communication is a must. Responsibilities + Support thousands of drivers across the country using two-way audio/video communication. + Verify and identify necessary specifications on trucks and processes. + Coordinate, communicate, and provide updates daily to all parties involved in the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at warehouses, facilities, and distribution centers. + Handle all gate operations to allow onsite associates to focus on daily operations. + Communicate clearly and effectively with approximately 200 drivers per day. Essential Skills + Excellent customer service skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Strong phone etiquette. + Positive attitude and aptitude. + Great customer awareness. + Technical savviness. + Experience in logistics, intermodal, supply chain, call center, communication, and people skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1+ year of high-volume call center customer support experience. + Strong retail customer service experience from companies such as Starbucks or the restaurant industry. + Strong job tenure. + Ability to follow standard operating procedures and strong problem-solving skills. + Experience with Microsoft Excel and keyboard shortcuts. + Proficiency in computers. + Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once. + Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment Training is in person/on-site for 3 weeks (Monday to Friday), 8:00am - 4:30pm, after which you will transition into your production role. The office is located at 8600 South Science Drive, Tempe, AZ. Post-training hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm and 8:30am - 5:00pm. This role requires working onsite 5 days per week with no work-from-home or hybrid options. Overtime will be necessary from October through December. You must be open to working holidays. Shift patterns include Thursday to Monday, Friday to Tuesday, Saturday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Sunday, or Monday to Friday (availability for Monday to Friday shifts may be limited, so flexibility to work weekends is preferred).
