Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be a part of a professional, customer-oriented team in the Service department located in Billerica. 

Customer Service Representative must have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, in a conversational manner. Being able to remain calm, cool and collected in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is a must. Position will work closely with other team members, customers, technicians, management as well as other departments within Teledyne FLIR.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage incoming internal and external customer inquiries via both email and phone. Process customer requests and information timely and efficiently to provide Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests for services and repair of productsWork closely with technicians and peersWork with key accountsPrepare repair estimates while paying attention to customer, payment and contractual termsProcessing customers payments via purchase orders, government contracts and credit cardsPrepare shipping documentsResponsible for gathering and entering customer information for import and export requests for international returns per Global Trade Compliant requirements.Vet and screen customers, systems and transactionsEnsure to follow any applicable ITAR and Commerce regulationsAbility to multi-task and quickly navigate multiple systems and screensHelp reduce the backlog and turn around times Perform additional related duties as required

Job Qualifications:

Strong work ethic, analytical, creative, independent yet also a team playerPrioritize and execute multiple tasksFlexible and adaptable to changeStrong communications skills, both written and verbalGreat organization and time management skillsProficient with Microsoft Office, Oracle and experience with an ERP system, preferably SAPPrevious experience with Customer Service preferred but not requiredA minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
