Job Description

Our new merchandiser will help to lift our commitment to our clients both internally and externally. A dominant part of the client portfolio would be clients related to sports clubs and sports brands and secondly workwear clients in Europe. Some key tasks will be to facilitate orders, quote development, identify ways to continuously improve client experience, and be the link between the clients and the manufacturing functions.  You will be collaborating with our commercial teams in Europe and you will manage orders from some of the largest brands in the world. We are looking for someone who shares our ambitions of growth and development and this position will have opportunities for growth within the company.

The department you will belong to consists of skilled and experienced colleagues, and you will be the ninth member of this team and a part of a 13-person commercial team on site. You will receive good training in our internal systems, as well as in the use and production of heat transfer labels. You will be reporting to the customer service manager.

For the right candidate, there will also be a chance for this position to be located in Leiden, Netherlands.

 

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to

Proactive and professional communication with international clients and coworkers, both internal and external.

Manage accounts regarding order processing, order follow-up, sales order pricing, on-time deliveries, and complete order fulfillment.

Identify client needs and determine appropriate action, for example match customer needs to the best solution, and follow up.

Identify improvements and challenges and take ownership of resolving and implementing improvements.

Create good relationships with both existing and potential clients.

Close cooperation with colleagues in the customer service / merchandiser team as well as the other departments in the company like production.

Qualifications

Experience with customer/client contact and an outstanding sense of service.

Systematic and structured and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

A high degree of accuracy, good time management and priority-setting skills are important.

Able to adapt to different cultures - we have clients and coworkers from many countries.

Be able to express yourself professionally written and orally in English. Norwegian skills are an advantage, but not a requirement. As some of our key workwear clients are German, some German skills will be an advantage, but not a requirement.

Knowledge of Google Suits is an advantage.
