What does a Customer Service Representative in Calgary do? Greet customers and assist with directions, inquiries, and other building-specific services as assigned. Build and nurture relationships with retailers and tenants to educate them about available services and to understand their offerings. Conduct daily inspections of common areas and digital signage to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency. Monitor the reception email account, addressing or redirecting tenant inquiries as necessary. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the building’s amenities, facilities, retail stores, and promotional activities. Manage tenant programs such as ‘Borrow a Bike’ and ‘Borrow an Umbrella,’ ensuring their effective implementation. Ensure accuracy in all customer interaction communication tools, including phone messages, website content, directories, and face-to-face interactions. Handle gift card transactions and maintain associated records. Familiarize yourself with building emergency procedures and participate actively as outlined. Assist the site team with promotional events and special projects as needed. Occasionally monitor service requests via 310-MAXX/Angus and amenities reservations. Update interactive directory boards with the latest content as required. Collect, track, and review tenant certificates of insurance to ensure compliance. Participate in special projects and undertake additional duties as assigned. Qualifications to become a Customer Service Representative in Calgary High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or facility management is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Must be able to work 0730 - 1530 and extend when required Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with email management. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive and resourceful attitude towards problem-solving.
