Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the transport industry, based in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role will be crucial in assisting riders of all abilities and managing fixed route operations. Responsibilities: • Efficiently answer telephone calls and address service-related inquiries from customers. • Book trip requests and manage cancellations using scheduling software. • Perform data entry tasks as required. • Register new riders in the computerized software system. • Liaise with Dispatch and other vendors as necessary. • Provide support at the Customer Service window when required, which includes answering questions, distributing schedules, and assisting riders if needed. • Utilize skills in Data Entry, Customer Service, Cash Flow Management, and Microsoft Office to perform tasks effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role within the transport industry • Proficiency in data entry tasks • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service • Experience in cash flow management • Proficient in Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Excellent problem-solving abilities • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
