Customer Service Representative Associate

The Customer Service Representative Associate will provide outstanding administrative and clerical support to the PRA Operations, Service and Account Management Teams, gaining an in-depth knowledge of agency processes and client needs.  This position is designed to be a training opportunity for those pursuing a pathway to Client Service Specialist and Account Management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide timely and accurate information in response to service team and client requestsProcess requests from current or potential clients for items such as policy documents, proofs of insurance, and claims history/loss run requestsProcess tail letters and other communications at the request of the service and account management teamReview policies and endorsements for accuracy in conjunction with a senior member of the service team, Account or Market Manager before sending to clientsAssist with processing policy changes (additions and deletions of members to groups, address changes, etc.) using standard agency proceduresAssist operations team with projects as needed and provide backup support on Operations Support responsibilities such as routing incoming phone calls, mail, and faxesProcess new agency business according to agency and carrier policies and procedures, including setting up the data record, issuing policies in the Agency Management System, issuing certificates of insurance, and invoicing (if necessary)Assist with renewal process as directed by Client Service Specialist and/or Account Manager 

Requirements and Qualifications:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Property and Casualty License within 90 days of the start dateHigh School DiplomaInsurance experience preferredComputer proficiency, including the ability to use agency database software and MS Office products, particularly MS Word and MS ExcelStrong customer service orientationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
