Job Summary:

Assists and prepares account representatives for client meetings.  Processes and tracks paperwork for financial services transactions. Responds to client questions regarding accounts and aids them in preparing paperwork.  Maintains blotters regarding new business and commissions. Tracks and facilitates the processing of financial transactions for clients. Provide service and develop good working relationships with clients and prospects, producers, underwriters, brokers, etc. as respects Property & Casualty Insurance.

Responsibilities:

Schedules financial services and wholesaler appointments and pension review meetings.  In doing so, prepares account representatives for meetings with appropriate pre-filled applications, withdrawal forms and other paperwork for both individual client and group meetings.

Processes completed forms and applications by sending to appropriate company.  Tracks progress and follows up with companies as needed to ensure transactions are processed in a timely manner and that they meet client expectations.  Saves images of broker dealer approved paperwork and attaches to the client records.

Provides information, assistance and materials to financial services customers and group retirement participants as requested via phone, email, fax and mail. Assists clients by pre-filling as much information as possible on the forms.

Maintains client database and various tracking spreadsheets, including commission reports and new business tracking spreadsheets.

Provides administrative support to account representatives by sorting mail, filing and performing other administrative activities.

Provides backup to group retirement customer service representatives and

Maintains current product and prospectus materials.

Requirements:

Manage a well established book of municipal & education clients

Submit new and renewal applications to carriers

Provide reconciliation of production and other reports.  

Function personally and in collaboration with the appropriate processing specialist.

Answer questions about existing policies

Maintain Agency Management System - Applied EPIC

Technical knowledge of various investment account and group retirement plans (including IRAs, mutual funds and various annuities)

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work with deadlines and multiple account representatives and clients needing information

Education/Experience:

General high school education or equivalent

At least 1 year of progressively more responsible experience

PC experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
