This part-time position will be located at Conroe's Westside Recreation Center.\n

JOB SUMMARY\n

The Customer Service Representative will provide excellent customer service to members and participants; assist with facility, event and program activities including set-up, assignment of duties, supervision and take down; ensure safe environment for participants; be responsible for open and close of facility; follow all City of Conroe and Center policies and procedures. \n

QUALIFICATIONS\n

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: \n\nExperience in staff supervision\nExperience in delivery of recreation programs and\/or services to the public\nCash handling\nExcellent communication skills\n\n

Education and Experience:\n\nMinimum age of 18 years old \nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum of one year of experience in a leadership role \n\n

Special Requirements:\n\nPossession of a valid class \"C\" Texas driver's license\nAbility to obtain relevant certifications\n\n

PHYSICAL DEMANDS\n

The work is medium and requires the ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and\/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and\/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: crouching, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, talking, visual acuity and walking.\n
