Customer Service Support - Jr
Description We are on the lookout for a diligent and proactive Customer Service Support - Jr to join our team. Operating within the manufacturing industry, the role is based in Los Angeles, California. As a Customer Service Support - Jr, your core function will be to facilitate sales and resolve account or service issues, while also ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and efficient processing of customer applications and maintaining accurate customer records. Responsibilities: • Act as an intermediary between the company and customers to enhance sales and resolve any account or service-related issues. • Provide customers with comprehensive information about our products and services. • Develop and maintain positive relationships with current and potential key accounts to increase market share. • Address customer schedule changes and delivery issues promptly and efficiently. • Follow up on quotes provided to customers, identifying reasons for lost business, such as pricing, lead-time, or delivery concerns. • Handle order entries accurately, perform sales order buddy checks, quote entries, and customer feedback entries. • Understand blueprints and technical data to better serve our customers. • Familiarize yourself with international accounts and export regulations. • Develop a deep understanding of distributor accounts and specifics regarding distributor agreements and procedures. • Familiarize yourself with OEM/Engine accounts and specifics regarding the product and procedures. Requirements • Proficient in Customer Service and Sales techniques • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook • Familiarity with the software 'About Time' • Understanding of Pricing strategies and Benefit Functions • Experience in Production processes and adhering to Regulations • Ability to act as a Liaison between different teams or departments • Exceptional Communication Skills, both verbal and written • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software • Capable of Verification processes in a Manufacturing setting • Proficient in Order Entry and handling ERP Solutions • Ability to develop and implement a Business Plan • Experience in dealing with External Customers and providing accurate Quotes • Knowledge of the Aerospace industry is a plus • Ability to manage Schedule Changes efficiently • Understanding of Company Objectives and how to achieve them • Familiarity with MRP ERP System is a necessity TalentMatch® ­Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
