Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the outdoor recreation department on Edwards Air Force Base, Ca. This is a Regular position with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for customers, answering their questions, and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Register customers for activities and collect signed waivers, ensuring that they have signed the necessary waivers to participate. Check out equipment to customers and manage facility reservations, such as camping, hiking, and boating. Process resale transactions for outdoor recreation activities. Manage FAMCAMP reservations and check-ins/outs. Answer telephone inquiries and provide information to customers by providing customers with accurate and up-to-date information about outdoor recreation programs and services. Generate activity rosters and prepare end of shift/day financial reports to track revenue and expenses. Perform other related office administrative tasks as assigned such as data entry, filing, and answering emails, as assigned by the Outdoor Recreation Director or Programs Manager/Assistant Director. May operate a government vehicle traveling from one facility to another. May be required to work uncommon tour of duty to include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and family days. This position has been designated as a testing designated position (TDP). Incumbent is subject to random drug screen.
