Customer Service-Worksite Representative
Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service-Worksite Representative to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to support policyholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while contributing to the success of a well-established insurance company. The role includes comprehensive training and a hybrid schedule once proficiency is achieved. Responsibilities: • Provide accurate and timely information to policyholders regarding insurance products and claims. • Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls, addressing claims service and intake-related questions. • Assist policyholders with troubleshooting self-service issues and resolving technical challenges. • Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate transfers and support revenue growth. • Process claim intakes efficiently and ensure adherence to departmental quality standards. • Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators, including handle time, auxiliary time, and post-call work. • Uphold organizational values, contributing to process improvements and providing constructive feedback to leadership. • Participate in mentoring and training representatives who are newer to the role to enhance team capabilities. • Adapt to various shifts within operational hours as required. • Represent the company’s values by demonstrating personal connection, empathy, problem-solving, and ownership. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance industry. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with policyholders and team members. • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide guidance to customers. • Familiarity with key performance metrics and ability to meet departmental standards. • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a logical approach to addressing complex issues. • Capacity for continuous learning, including acquiring new knowledge and skills. • Proficiency in computer systems and software used in customer service operations. • Willingness to work onsite during the training period and adapt to a hybrid schedule thereafter.
