We are seeking a highly skilled candidate with extensive hands-on experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of LV switchgear in complex industrial / infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in commissioning and troubleshooting of ACBs, electrical Panels, i-MCC (Simocode), Soft starters, Energy Management Systems (EMS) software etc. The role demands technical excellence, quick problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach to ensure minimum downtime and maximum efficiency. You will also need to have experiences in:
• LV Switchgear Expertise: Proficient in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining LV switchgear (ACBs, MCCBs, protection relays) in industrial environments. • Advanced Technical Skills: Deep understanding of protection relays, control wiring, interlocking schemes, and fault diagnosis in complex power systems. • EMS Proficiency: Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting Energy Management Systems (EMS), including data collection, load profiling, and optimization. • Industrial Communication Skills: Strong knowledge of network validation, Profibus, and Modbus cable routing, with troubleshooting expertise. • Extensive Field Service Experience: 7-8 years of on-site service experience with EP products in power distribution, automation, and industrial applications, including ACB servicing (troubleshooting, firmware, retrofits). • Service Business Acumen: Manages service contracts, retrofits, spare parts, and repairs, driving revenue growth, analyzing KPIs, identifying service opportunities, and ensuring EHS and regulatory compliance.
Additionally, you’re required to have • Strong knowledge of PowerManager & TIA Portal: o PowerManager: Expertise in configuring power monitoring systems, analyzing load data, and ensuring energy efficiency. o TIA Portal: Proficiency in PLC programming, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of automation systems for seamless integration with switchgear operations.
• Simocode expertise: o Programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Simocode motor management systems. o Ability to diagnose faults, optimize configurations, and integrate Simocode with PLC/SCADA system
You excel in • Electrical Engineering Degree & Extensive Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of hands-on field experience servicing LV switchgear, power distribution products, and industrial automation systems. • Technical Expertise: Mandatory expertise in Energy Management Systems, PowerManager, TIA Portal, and Simocode programming and troubleshooting. • Problem-Solving & Independence: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under challenging field conditions. • Service Contract & Project Experience: Experience managing high-value service contracts, retrofit projects, and providing critical customer support. • Flexibility & Communication: Willingness to travel extensively, availability for emergency service calls, and excellent communication, analytical, and customer-handling skills.
